Zec 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
We live in a world that asking is a very important issue,among men and, even before God because God has make it that way. You don’t have to go about assuming every one,including God knows what you need,you have to ask.Remember Our Lord told us in Matt.7:7,Ask, and it shall be given you…There is no better person to ask from but God and there is one better thing to ask of;rain rain rain.The importance of rain can never be over emphasize,both physically and spiritually.The absence of rain lead to famine,hunger,starvation,dryness,stinky and rottenness,thirst,uncleanness,death and the lists goes on.And if this can be true of rain in the physical,how much more in the spiritual sense of it.
Fellow brethren,there is no time that we so much need spiritual rain of revival to fall on all of us than now.It’s either now or never,the clock is ticking and things are getting wrap up in the spirit realm,the Bride (True Church) is being prepared for Her Bridegroom (Jesus).But before the revival rain falls,God in His sovereignty and by His word has ordained that we have to ask for it.Go ahead and ask God for this rain upon your life,family,church and society in general. Even though God is sovereign,a farmer should not expect to reap a harvest,if he has not planted a seed(s),so also we shouldn’t expect a revival if we don’t ask for it in prayer.Glory to God that He is raising men and women of prayer that is seeking His face for a great outpouring of revival upon us.
We are living in a perilous times,last of the last days,when the darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people,but it is also the most glorious days to live as a Christian.Because we are about to witness the latter rain which is be poured out upon the earth.The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.Hag.2:9. The greatest revival in world history surpassing the early church days is beckoning on us and about to explode…people get ready! Look up,there is a sign of clouds be gathered by the Hand of the Lord through the prayers of the saints.When Prophet Elijah prayed that it might rain again in Israel after 3½ years,he sent his servant to checkout the sky,and he returned at the seventh time that the clouds were beginning to gather as the size of a man’s hand,then he knew that soon it will rain,1kings18:41-44.If God did it then,He can do it again,even by sending us the rain of revival.
I can see the Hand of the Lord gathering the clouds,making ‘bright clouds‘ so as to pour out showers of rain,upon every one grass in the field.Are you one of the ‘grass in the field of prayer’,if not better position yourself,be where God wants you to be and be doing what He wants you to do,so that you wouldn’t miss out on what He’s doing in this days.God is calling each and everyone of us into a secret place of prayer,one on one private prayer time with Him (most important) and yet not neglecting praying together with other believers.There will always be rain for the grass that is on a field rather than the grass under a bed,that goes on to show that Revival is birthed in the place of prayer and also sustained through prayer.
I conclude with this quote ”Prayer meetings for revival should spring up in offices,homes,factories,and schools across the nation. All sectarian interests should be abandoned for the great cause of revival prayer.Men and women of various persuasions and backgrounds must agree on earth as touching this one thing -that they cannot and will not live without revival.The God of mercies cannot and will not resist such prayer”.-Richard Owen Roberts.
