Let us remember to pray for our christian brothers and sisters in Iraq,Syria,Pakistan,Yemen,Sudan,Nigeria, and all around the world facing persecutions for their faith. In this hour of persecutions which have come upon the world,we shall not bow nor give up,the devil knows he has lost the battle already.For we overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;loved not our lives unto the death. (Rev 12:11) We fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Mat 10:28).
Listen to what Jesus says concerning our (christians) persecutions;
”Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”.(Matt 5:10)
”Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake”. (Luk 6:22)
”Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also”. (Joh 15:20)
”Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake”. (Mat 24:9)
”But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake”. (Luke 21:12)
”But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved”.(Mar 13:9,13)
”Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you”. (Mat 5:12)
