As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? Psalm 42:1-2.
And I believe God is calling each and everyone of us towards this goal…”longing after God”.
If you look at your spiritual life and you feel there’s got to be something more.That’s a sign that there is hope for you no matter your present spiritual condition.Really God is the one putting this desire and longing in you,please don’t ignore it.That’s the mistake so many people make that they ignore and do little or nothing about the spiritual thirst God puts in them and they miss or delay the opportunity God is bringing across them.
Begin to respond to the desire and thirst God is putting in you for more of Him.And some of the ways we respond is by humbling ourselves,drawing near and seeking Him with all our heart,spending time in prayers and communion with God, and sometimes denying our body of physical food to enrich our soul to know and have more of God.
Don’t go for ”gold” but Go after God with all your heart and you certainly gonna find Him…”and ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart”.Jer.29:13
