Looking at the World around us,one thing is certain,the World is ripe for God’s judgement,most tragically we have turn our back on God and because of the sins, injustices and wickedness of men and women.If God spared not Sodom and Gomorrah,and other small cities around her who partook of her gross sexual perversion and wickedness,how much more will God judge our today’s World?The sins be committed in our societies is even worst than what they did,check out the rate of crimes, abortions (murders of babies), injustices, homosexuality, pornography,lawlessness,sex outside wedlock, hatred,rapes and other vices been committed on a daily basis,you will understand what I mean.
But sadly enough this sins have also found their way even into the Church.Let us be reminded that if we partake of the World’s sins we shall also partake of it’s judgement.Remember Lot’s Wife who looked back,even though she was out of the ‘evil city’ of Sodom and Gomorrah but the City was still inside of her,perhaps she remember her gold and ‘precious things’ left over and she decided to looked back and she turned into a pillar of salt.Many sins,namely gossip,hatred,anger,jealousy, homosexuality,sex outside wedlock,etc which we once thought only happened among the unbelievers,are now be found even in the Church,what a tragedy!Both the World and the Church today are duly ripe for judgement. 1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Nevertheless no matter how gloomy things may seems to be right now in the World and in the Church,there is hope according by the word of the Lord,and a verse comes to mind from the bible which says in 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I believe God will be pouring His judgement and Revival at the same time as we are approaching the rapture of the believers.If we truly wants to see revival in our cities,towns and our lands,God expects us to humble ourselves,pray and seek His face and stop sinning.Personally speaking YOU cannot afford to sit at the fence,you ‘ve to make a choice,do you want revival or judgement in your own life?If your answer is revival then humble yourself before God in prayers,repent and turn away from your own sins,and expect God to revive you.
